Belgian composer Daniel Offermann creates sonic signatures for ambitious storytelling. His soundtracks fuse contemporary pop aesthetics, traditional arrangements and adventurous sounddesign.

For the international Netflix series THE COYOTES (directed by Gary Seghers & Jacques Molitor), which jump-started the careers of several young Belgian actors, Daniel crafted an unconventional score built from dusty vinyl samples and his beloved analogue synths.
His second collaboration with director Jacques Molitor, the feature film WOLFKIN starring French actress Louise Monot (Pandore), features a brooding, orchestral sound palette with cellist Claire Goldfarb. The film screened at SITGES, London FrightFest and MOTELX Lisbon, and is slated for worldwide theatrical release.
In 2024 Daniel wrote the score for the TV crime drama MEURTRE À TOURNAI (France 3, dir. Gary Seghers), laying a dark yet non-clichéd undercurrent beneath the investigation on Belgium’s linguistic border.
He also shaped the sonic world of the mystery series ARCANES (dir. Michèle Jacob). Analogue drones, modular mayhem and chamber motifs fuse into a shimmering texture that makes the supernatural feel tangible.
Earlier work includes the three-part architecture documentary ARCHIBELGES (Canvas/RTBF, dir. Oscar-shortlisted Olivier Magis) with its surreal, playful soundtrack, plus a placement in the Farrelly Brothers comedy HALL PASS.
As multi-instrumentalist and co-composer for indie-pop cult band GIRLS IN HAWAII, Daniel has toured worldwide and collected Gold records and multiple awards. He also creates music for theatre productions and immersive museum exhibitions across Europe.
Daniel lives with his family in the Belgian borderlands between Brussels, Cologne and Luxembourg. A member of the World Soundtrack Academy and the Belgian Screen Composers Guild, he is considered a resident of Belgium for production tax-credit purposes (Belgian Tax Shelter).
